What is Anitaku?

Anitaku is an anime mystery box subscription service that was created for the sole purpose of sharing the joy of mystery boxes with the world. What's better than one anime figure or a manga volume or even a plushie? A box full of them, duh! But hey, we don't just have mystery boxes. Anitaku also has single products like figures, blankets, plushies and handmade products like shirts and drinkware too! We've also expanded our mystery products to include mystery bags too!

How does it work?

Well, you first have to choose the length of your subscription. Whether you want to get a monthly, a 3-month, 6 month or even an entire year long subscription, the choice is all yours. And that's it. Easy, right? Then just sit back and try to contain the excitement as you wait for us to do our part- curating your special box before we send it on its merry way! Boxes usually ship out by the 5th of every month and it can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks for it to arrive at your doorstep.

What and how many items can we find in the boxes?

You can find a wide assortment of items in every box. You can get anywhere from 4-10 items, depending on the value of the items. There are no set guaranteed item numbers but you can be sure that each box will have a value of $100. Every Anitaku box can include anything from lamps, blankets, posters and more- the possibilities are endless.

What is the difference between a mystery box and a mystery bag?

The difference between the two is that our mystery box is Themed and features items specific for the month's theme. There are no set item numbers and instead every box will have a value of $100. Our mystery bags feature randomly assorted anime and include 3 guaranteed items- 1 plush, 1 accessory, and 1 mini plush.

When will my subscription renew?

All Anitaku subscriptions automatically renew on the 10th of every month. So, if you want to keep your subscription active, just sit back and let Anitaku take care of the rest. If you feel you need a break or no longer wish to continue the subscription (although, why would you not?!) then make sure to cancel before it renews. Subscribers usually receive an email reminder alerting them of the upcoming renewals, so no excuses people!
